Invitation to Bid for the Supply of Motor Vehicle – EPRC/SUPPLY/ADM/2017-18/000602

1. The Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of a Motor Vehicle for its operations.
2. EPRC invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of 1 (one) motor vehicle -station wagon.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8 during office hours from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda shillings one hundred thousand only). The method of payment will be cash paid to the Finance Office, and obtain a receipt for payment. The bidding document may thereafter be collected from the Human Resource and Administration Office, upon presentation of the receipt. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery of bid documents.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 3:00 pm on Wednesday 29^th November 2017. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 7,000,000 (Seven million Uganda shillings only). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the EPRC Board room in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who may choose to attend at 3:30pm on the same day.
7. There shall be a pre – bid meeting as outlined in the planned procurement schedule below (subject to changes):
