The Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) between November 28, 2017 and December 1, 2017, at its Conference Hall, conducted the STATA refresher training for participants drawn from institutions that are collaborating with EPRC to contribute to the measurement of Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) for Uganda.
The participants emanated from; Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MFPED), National Planning Authority (NPA), and School of Economics – College of Business and Management Sciences (COBAMS – Makerere University) among others.
The training was aimed at refreshing STATA skills among participants, in preparation for a hands-on training on MPI measurement by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) that was conducted between December 4, 2017 and December 8, 2017 at Lake Heights Hotel in Entebbe.
The measurement of Multidimensional Poverty Index is being supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
