A total of 25 Slovenian professors and students from the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana as well as other professionals from different fields visited the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) to explore the possibility of collaboration in research on gender issues.
The faction held brief talks with EPRC Staff and Researchers steered by the Executive Director Dr. Sarah Ssewanyana.
The discussion entailed brief presentations from EPRC Research Fellows; Gemma Ahaibwe, Madina Guloba, and Francis Mwesigye who have in the past engaged in gender related studies.

The letter earlier addressed to EPRC by the University of Ljubljana stated that the delegation would explore “possibilities of joint research projects”.
“We are especially interested in starting collaboration on a project aimed to developing gender equality in Uganda,” the letter reads.
The February 1, 2018 visit ended with a cocktail and networking.
