A new research programme called “Energy for Economic Growth” (EEG) has been launched following the multi-stakeholder discussion that took place in Dar-es-Salaam on 14th June 2016. The discussion examined factors that influence decisions relating to the expansion of generation and which energy sources can be used to meet demand.
