Sanday Amos (PhD)

Amos Sanday is a Volunteer Research Associate at the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) Makerere.

He holds a PhD in Economics from Anadolu University, Eskisehir Turkey, MA. Economic Policy Management from Makerere University College of Business, and BA in Development Finance (Microfinance) from Kyambogo University. He is a 2019 Young African Leaders Fellow of the YALI and a 2021-222 Mentee of the Association for Mentoring and Inclusion in Economics (AMIE).  Amos’s research interest lie at the intersection of Finance, Macroeconomics, Applied micro and development economics particularly on the questions of public finance, taxation, domestic resource mobilisation, firm performance and behaviour, trade and regional integration, financial inclusion and development, economic growth in low-income countries, urbanisation and development and impact evaluations.
