Solomon Stephen Nuwagaba serves as a Research Associate in the Sectoral Department at the Economic Policy Research Centre Makerere University. He served as a graduate intern at EPRC and also served in the Product Development and Research unit at Centenary bank Uganda. He is a member of the Uganda Statistical Society (USS). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University and waiting to defend his thesis for a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics of Makerere University. He has a robust background in statistics and applied economics.

Solomon has undergone various training programs, including a capacity-building workshop by the East African Community and WHO courses on migration and health, and COVID-19 risk assessment. He has strong proficiency in statistical packages, and skilled in econometric analysis and survey design. His research interests lie in the field of operations research, development economics, agricultural economics, Health economics and impact evaluation.
