The Small Business Recovery Fund (SBRF) was established in October 2021 as a public-private partnership between the Government of Uganda (GoU) and Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs) to provide credit to small businesses that were financially distressed by the COVID–19 pandemic but demonstrated potential for recovery.
