Mary Kajumba is a research associate at economic policy research institute (EPRC). She is currently doing her PhD in Social Studies, Makerere Institute of Social Research, Makerere University and currently in her fifth year. She has a Master of Philosophy, Makerere Institute of social research, Master of Arts in Management Studies, Uganda Management Institute, Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation, Uganda Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Management, Uganda Management Institute and. Bachelor’s of Arts in Education degrees of Makerere University.

Mary’s expertise lies in political economy and political and Historical studies, with vast experience in working with non-government organization for the last 15 years in support of women in health-related programmes and children in need. Experienced in resource mobilization monitoring and evaluation. She is equipped with skills in gender analysis, Conduct, analyze and well-grounded in primary research and present qualitative research finding.

While working with different NGOs (World vision, save the children, promoting equality in African schools, Mary engages in a number of research and evaluation surveys on health and sanitation, Gender, developed proposals and implemented them. While with Makerere institute of social research, Mary has been equipped with skill in quantitative research through handling of Health Adoption of interventions to create healthy food environments and prevent Non-Communicable Diseases in Uganda: A policy landscape analysis of barriers, facilitators, and feasibility), agriculture, Oil and gas projects.
