MSME Resilience and Recovery in the Face of Second Wave of COVID-19

As covid-19 positive cases and death skyrocketed through the country in May and June, 2021, government made a harsh but necessary decision to place the country under lockdown again. This was equivalent to a death sentence for many micro, small and medium enterprises across the country.

The EPRC, Ministry of Finance, and with support from IDRC, Canada have made rapid assessment of the situation to understand the impact, resilience, and recovery for MSMEs in the face of second wave.

On July 29, 2021, the Centre will disseminate the results of the survey and discuss the way forward.
