Report Dissemination: Work and Income for Young Men and Women in Africa: Case of Uganda

The Economic Policy Research Centre in conjunction with the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and the Knowledge Platform on Inclusive Development (INCLUDE) will host a half-day dissemination workshop for the research report on “Work and Income for Young Men and Women in Africa: Case of Uganda”.

The report is authored by Dr. John Mutenyo, Dr. Faisal Buyinza and Dr. Wilson Asiimwe of Makerere University, College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS) as part of a 9-country study covering Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia and Uganda. The study looked at “work and employment for young men and women: political economy and social equity approach to the employment potential of specific sectors and subsectors in African economies”

We kindly invite you to participate at this report dissemination workshop that is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala starting at 8:30am.
