The Private Sector Investment in a Changing Climate (PSI–Climate) initiative is a 2.5 year initiative launched in January 2014,  to explore how domestic private sector investments can support climate risk management along agricultural value chains.

Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) is an initiative founded in 2006 through a partnership between the Rockefeller Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The DTM initiative was developed in 2009 by the Inspectorate of Government (IG) with the assistance of the World Bank and DFID to address a growing concern about the lack of credible tools and methods to track corruption in Uganda.
The EPRC was established in 1993 in a period of far-reaching donor-supported economic reforms in Uganda. It was designed to fill fundamental voids in economics research, policy analysis, and capacity building for effective in-country contributions to Uganda's policy processes.

Past research projects

The Service Delivery Indicators initiative is an Africa-wide program that collects facility-based data from schools and health facilities. By adopting the perspectives of the citizens accessing the services, the indicators act as a service delivery report card on education and health care.
