Badagawa is the Executive Director, Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU). He holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics Masters in Development Studies, Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Post Graduate Diploma in Environment Management from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.

 He is a statistician by training and taught at the Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics, Makerere University from 1992 until 2000 when he joined the Private Sector Foundation of Uganda as a Senior Policy Analyst. He later rose through the ranks as Manager and Director for policy advocacy before proceeding to work with Uganda Manufacturers’ Association as Executive Director in 2008. Later in 2010, he rejoined PSFU and assumed the post of Executive Director.
